Can I give Qurbani? My parents did not give any Haqeeqaa for me in my childhood...

Question

I am 55 years old. My parents did not give any Haqeeqaa for me in my childhood. Alhamdulillah now I am in a good position. Can I give Qurbani in my name for Eid-Ul-Adha even though I wouldn't have given Haqeeqaa. If not, what is the solution?

Answer

You can slaughter an animal for Qurbaani even though you have not done Aqeeqah. You may slaughter an animal for Aqeeqah at anytime in your life.
