Are we allowed to do any kind of business on the day of eid-ul-fitr and eid-ul-adha ? LIke running supermarkets etc.

Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

At the outset, Eid is a day of eating , drinking and having relation with one’s spouse. It would be preferable to spend your Eid with the family and entertain them. However, it is permissible to do all kind of business on Eid Day.
