Is it permissible to use alcoholic perfumes?
Question
can we use alchoholic perfumes or deoderants on our clothes. Do they make our clothes impure??
Can we pray ,if we apply alchoholic perfumes on our clothes??
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Present day perfumes and deodorants are made from synthetic alcohol which is not impure. If one applies perfumes or deodorants having synthetic alcohol or spray, the clothes will remain pure. Salaah with such perfumes or deodorants is valid.
