Me and my friend bought a book by both of us contributing half of the money. after some days we found out he is a thief, we broke all ties with him. Please advise me what to do with the book
Question
However after some days when me and my friends found out that he is a theif we broke all ties with him. Please advise me what to do with the book.Now we have completed our studies and since we both belonged to different cities we have returned to our home. I dont know what to do with the book. Also i dont want to keep the book all alone as my faith keeps me questioning. Please advise me.
Answer
If you are not certain that the book itself was stolen by the person who sold you the book, then you may keep the book.
If you are not comfortable, then you may dispose of the book by giving it in
charity.
