Questions regarding a Masbooq
Question
1. Who is a masbooq?
2. When should a Masbooq stand up after the first or after the second Salaam?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu 'alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
1. A Masbooq is one who joins the Salah anytime after the Imam has completed the first ruku of the Salaah.[1]
2. A Masbooq should only stand up after the Imam completes the second salaam. However, if a Masbooq stands up after the Imam completes the first Salaam then; his Salaah is still be valid. [2]

الْمَسْبُوق من سبقه الإِمَام بِجَمِيعِ ركعاتها أَو بَعْضهَا أَو هُوَ الَّذِي أدْرك الإِمَام بعد رَكْعَة أَو أَكثر

أنه يصلي أولا ما أدرك مع الإمام ثم يقضي ما سبق كذا في محيط للسرخسي

ثم إذا سلم يقضي ما فاته وهو أول صلاته إلا من حيث القعدات فقد وجب على المسبوق عكس الترتيب

ومن أحاكمه أنه لا یقوم الي القضاء قبل التسلميتن بل ینتظر فراغ االمام بعدهما لاحامتل سهو علي الامام....
