Arabic and Tahujat prayer
Question
Assalamaliakum mufti sahib. Inshallah two questions. Firstly is it compulsary for all muslims to speak and understand arabic since it is the language of Islam. Secondly, what is the purpose of Tahujat prayer and how and what way is it best performed? Jazakallah khair for your help.
Answer
It is not compulsory on all Muslims to speak and understand Arabic. Millions
of Muslims, past and present, do not understand Arabic.
