"INNALLAZI FARADA ALAIKAL QUR'ANA LARAADUKA ILA MA'D", if one inscribes this on the wall of his house with his index finger, before starting a journey, he will come back home safe and sound.

Question

Please let me know, if this is correct, if so, the source. Also the Ayat location in Qur'an.

With regards to the Aayat mentioned. It is recorded in the book,
'Haashiyatus Saawi' that a traveller should recite this verse to ensure a
safe return. The recitation is sufficient. This verse can be found in Surah
Qasas Aayat 85

and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
