Can Salaah be performed in semen stained clothes?
Question
After washing semen containing clothes in washing machine...Stains of semen remains there even after washing..
Is it allowed to pray in these clothes
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
A washing machine rinses and washes clothes many times. We do not understand how the stain of the semen would still remain. Nevertheless, if the semen has been washed and only the stain of semen remains, the clothes will be paak (pure). One may perform salaah in such clothes.[1]
