Question
Salam
What is the punishment for big sin (gunahe kabira) Allah )swt) will give in the day of judgment according Quran and Sunnah?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
A sinner will be punished according to the seriousness of the act.
Among the worst punishments for committing a big sin is incurring the la’nat of Allah, which takes effect from this world itself with a subsequent punishment in the hereafter. La’nat means to be deprived of the mercy of Allah. What great punishment can there be for an individual than to be deprived of the mercy of Allah. [1]
