Is it disrespectful to spit out water while doing whudu when facing the qiblah?

Question

I hav been told that facing the qibla and doing wudhu is sunnat but when we gargle and spit out we will be spitting in the direction of the qibla will this not be disrespectful.I am a bit confused plz clarify.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

When one faces the qiblah and makes wuhdu, in rinsing the mouth, he spits towards the floor and not towards the qiblah. Furthermore, in the context of wudhu, this is not regarded as disrespectful.
