Benefit of castrating a buckling goat.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The removing of the testicles of an animal is not considered as a defect in the animal. Consider the following Hadith.

إذا أراد أن يضحي، اشترى كبشين عظيمين، سمينين، أقرنين، أملحين موجوءين، فذبح أحدهما عن أمته، لمن شهد لله، بالتوحيد، وشهد له بالبلاغ، وذبح الآخر عن محمد، وعن آل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم

سنن ابن ماجه (4/ 301 الرسالة العالمية)

Translation: When Nabi Sallahu Alayhi Wasallam wanted to do Qurbani, he bought two fat ram which had horns and were castrated… (Sunan Ibn Majah V.4 Pg.301 Ar Risalatul Aalamiyya)

From a logical point of view, while an animal with a damaged limb, for example, a cut ear, or broken leg etc is regarded as a real defect in the animal, that is not so in removing the testicles. Castration adds value to the animal and the meat is increased and tenderised[1][2].
