Can one apply oils/creams while fasting?
Question
Can I apply oils and other cream/gels wihich will make my skin and hairs look healthy/shiny and young while fasting?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykumwa-rahmatullāhiwa-barakātuh.
It is permissible for one to apply oil, cream, etc to one’s skin and hair while fasting.[1]
