Do i have to make Wudhu or masah over my feet due to a medical condition?

Question

I have been suffering with a wart on the right sole of my foot for as long as 2 years, it has restricted my movement abit and I have tried numerous solution to solve it as the doctors advised from applying cream, burning it off and freezing it off. The nhs would take far too long so I have concidered paying a small amount to a private clinic to treat it. One of the methods they use is to pour acid onto the wart and to keep the foot dry from 2 days to a week deoending on the severity of my problem.

My question is will my wudhu be incomplete if over a given period I have to keep the foot dry and do masah over these few days?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If you are advised by your medical practitioner to keep the foot dry after the acid treatment, then you will be exempt from washing that foot in Wudhu.
