Is wearing fake jewelry permissible?
Question
Is wearing fake jewelry permissible? I heard from some mufti's in Buffalo that you can't wear fake jewelry.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible for females to wear imitation jewelry besides rings. Females may only wear rings of gold or silver.[1]
And Allah Ta‘ālā Knows Best.
