Fidya for Fasting

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The value of this Fidya is the same as Sadaqatul fitr, which is the value of 1.6 kg of wheat or 3.2 kg of barley. (Bahishti Zewar Vol. 3 Pg 20 ; Haashiya Tahtawi ala maraqi al falah Pg 688)[1]

The rate of fidya according to internet sources for Pakistan is roughly at Rs 80. However, we encourage you to contact ulama of your locality and ask for an uptodate calculated amount for fidya.
