I have to pay interest to my university on the remaining fees I have not been able to pay. Please explain.
Question
Asslamwalikum, I am a student in Canada. Due to my parents financial status, i was not able to pay me fees in full and ended up taking a govenment loan for education. My university has already charged me interest on the remaining balance. I have no choice but to pay the interest. Please explain what I am to do, and if I will be forgiven for paying the interest.

We hope you will be excused for paying the interest. However we advise you
exercise precaution in future by not involving yourself in taking an
interest bearing loans.
