I was wondering if females were allowed to shave on their bodies at all.

Question

I have been told that females are not allowed to shave on any part of their bodies or pluck their eye brows, is this true? What are females allowed to use on their private parts to get rid of their hair? Jazakallah

Answer

It is permissible for females to remove their hair from their bodies in any way, by using a blade or hair removing crams. It is prohibited for females to trim, shave or pluck their eyebrows.
