I'd like to know whether one can use the proceeds from a pension scheme payout for Hajj?

Question

At my workplace it is compulsory to contribute monthly to a pension fund. And I want to know whether I can use this money for Hajj when it gets paid out to me. Jazaakallah Khair.

Answer

Since this is a compulsory pension fund, you may use the proceeds as you wish. It may be used for Hajj as well.
