Can we use a credit card and then cancelling it after paying the money back

Question

Can we use a credit card and then cancelling it after paying the money back (without paying any interest) ?? ??. I meant by cancelling it just to avoid paying the interest ?? is trying to avoid to pay the interest does something to do with steeling or been dishonest ??
