Answer
A divorcee is entitled to maintenance only during the Iddat period if she is not a Naashiza.
A Naashiza is she who is guilty of disobedience to her husband and violating the laws of Nikah. If a divorcee is a Naashiza, she is not entitled to any maintenance even during her Iddat period. The father is always responsible to maintain his children and fulfil their needs.
