Is my husband's father my mehram? Can one marry their in-law?

Question

Please answer the following: 1) Is the biological father to my husband (he was born illegitamately i.e the parents are not together and were never married) considered a mehram to me? 2) May a father marry his child's mother-in-law and vice versa?

Answer

1. Yes, he is a Mahram to you.
2. Yes.
