what do I do with this excess money? Recently, someone knocked my car. he paid me R1300 for the damages. went to the panelbeater who quoted me R1400.

Recently, someone knocked my car. he paid me R1300 for the damages. i went to the panelbeater who quoted me R1400. i eventually managed to twisthis arm & i am having my car repaired for R1000. what am i to do with teh R300 excess?
Answer
What we understand is that the person paid you R1,300 through a mutual
agreement before you went to the panelbeater. If so, it will be permissible
for you to keep the excess R300.
