Marital relations in the period?

Question

Many of us, expatriates, go home for vacation after an absence of one year or more. On arrival or just before departure one may find his wife in her period.What is permissible for him and what is not?.

Answer

In the state of menses, only the area above the navel and beyond the knee is permissible for the husband.
