Are the following mahram: Mother’s sister or father’s sister, Step mother’s sister and step father’s sister, Sister’s mother in law.

Question

Dear Mifti Saheb. As-salamualaikum. Are the following people mahram or ghayr mahram : 1) Mother?s sister or father?s sister. 2) Step mother?s sister and step father?s sister. For females, step mother's brother or step father's brother. 3) Step mother?s brother?s wife ( step maternal uncles? wife). 4) Sister?s mother in law.

Answer

Mother's or father's sisters are Mahrams and all relations of your
step-mother or step-father are Ghayr Mahrams. Sister's mother-in-law is
Ghayr Mahram. (Aalamgiri)
