How does one increase the Imaan?

Answer

A person may increase his Imaan firstly by fulfilling the commandments of%0D%0AAlmighty Allah Ta'ala to the best of his ability as shown to us by our%0D%0Abeloved Rasul (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).%0D%0A%0D%0ASecondly, a person by constantly speaking about the greatness of Allah Ta'%0D%0Aala, His qualities, His attributes and staying in the environments where%0D%0Asuch talks are privileged. A person's Imaan and His convictions on Almighty%0D%0AAllah increases.%0D%0A%0D%0AThirdly, by pondering upon the manifestations of the creations of Allah,%0D%0Alike the skies, sun, moon, nature, etc.%0D%0A%0D%0AFourthly, constantly reciting the holy Qur'aan and pondering over a person's%0D%0AImaan increases. Allah Ta'ala says, 'Verily the believers are those when the%0D%0Aname of Allah is taken before them, their hearts tremble and when the verses%0D%0Aof Allah are recited before them, their Imaan increases.'%0D%0A%0D%0AFurthermore, in order to enhance one's Imaan and faith, one has to%0D%0Aconstantly ponder abou death and the resurrection after death and giving%0D%0Aaccountability in the court of Allah Ta'ala.%0D%0A%0D%0Aand Allah Ta'ala Knows Best%0D%0A%0D%0AMufti Ebrahim Desai
