Is it Halaal for us to have a buisness where you tailor and design mens suits(Formal wear,tuxedos etc)??
Question
Shukr I have a talent to draw, so I am deciding to design mens suits, and Insha-Allah open up a mens wear store(I have studied for a profession but cant seem to find a job).I am in the process of reading Istikhara Salaah for this decision, plz advise further if u can -Jazakallah! Salaams! O and make dua for my father he is really ill -Salaams
Answer
1. The designing of men's suits and the subsequent sale of the same is
permitted.
2. Continue with your Istikhaara and follow the inclination of your heart.
3. May Allah Ta'ala grant your father speedy recovery and maintain good
health. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) is reported to have said,
'Treat your ill people with charity.' In other words, give charity to the
poor, Allah will cure them with the blessing of this charity.
and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
