In one of the editions of AI-Haqq QA, it was said women are not supposed to cut short or shave their hair. Does it mean that the hair must be left to grow for the rest of a woman's life?

Answer

It is not permissible for a female to cut her hair. If her hair is long, she should look after it by plaiting it and combing it. and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best Mufti Ebrahim Desai
