What are the Ahadith about fasting in the month of Dhul-Hijjah (Zilhijj)? What are the recommendations about fasting on the Day of Arafat, or during the days of Hajj?

Answer

It is Mustahabb (preferable) to fast on the day of Arafaat.

It is prohibited to fast on the 10, 11, 12 and 13 of Dhul-Hijjah.
