Inheritance of a husband who leaves behind a wife, two daughters, one sons, and a father
Question
Asalamualaykum, How is the wealth distributed (who receives what share) in the case of a husband who leaves behind a wife, two daughters, one sons, and a father?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

According to the Shariah Laws of Inheritance and Succession, distribution of an estate will only commence after the funeral expenses, debts (including legal costs) and bequests (if any) made to non-heirs (which will not exceed one-third (1/3) of the estate after debts and funeral expenses have been settled). Thereafter, all assets form part of the net estate and will have to be distributed according to the Islamic Law of Succession and Inheritance. [1]
If you are survived by a wife, two daughters, one sons, and a father, then your estate will be divided in to 96 shares as follows:
