Validity of Wudhu after brushing teeth
Question
Asalamualaykum Warahatullah,
Hope you are well. I wanted to know if my wudhu gets broken or not. I noticed I bleed from my gums after brushing my teeth. I usually make wudhu after brushing my teeth. I don’t know if my wudhu is valid. Please advise. Jazakallah.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, Wudhu will be valid if the blood from the gums is very little and the color of the saliva is white or yellow. However, if the blood is equal or more than the saliva and the saliva is a reddish color then Wudhu will break.[1]
You may apply the above principle accordingly to determine the validity of your Wudhu. You may also consider brushing your teeth at another time, not before Salah.

(غلب على بزاق) حكما للغالب (أو ساواه) احتياطا (لا) ينقضه (المغلوب بالبزاق) والقيح كالدم والاختلاط بالمخاط كالبزاق

(قَوْلُهُ: غَلَبَ عَلَى بُزَاقٍ) بِالزَّايِ وَالسِّينِ وَالصَّادِ كَمَا فِي شَرْحِ الْمُنْيَةِ، وَعَلَامَةُ كَوْنِ الدَّمِ غَالِبًا أَوْ مُسَاوِيًا أَنْ يَكُونَ الْبُزَاقُ أَحْمَرَ، وَعَلَامَةُ كَوْنِهِ مَغْلُوبًا أَنْ يَكُونَ أَصْفَرَ بَحْرٌ

اگر تھوک کا رنگ سرخی مائل ہے تو وضوء ٹوٹ جائیگا، لیکن اگر خون بہت کم ہے اور تھوک کا رنگ زرد ہے سرخی مائل نہیں تو وضوء نہیں ٹوٹے گا
