Question

As we are in the Holy, blessed month of Ramadan, and are buzy in fasting, praying , and taraweeh, urma.. may Allah forgive all our sins and accept our DUA'S.

My question is "Can we brush our teeth during fasting i.e before we leave for Office (Usually between moring 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM..

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

It is makrūh to use toothpaste whilst fasting. If per chance the toothpaste goes down the throat, it will invalidate the fast. One may use the siwāk to brush the teeth.
