Investigating Miss-Sold loans
Question
Asalamuwalikum:
If you work an in a job dealing with mis sold loans interest based loans. Your job involves investigation if these loans were mis sold, sometimes depend on company procedures you uphold the case in which the customer get their money back plus 8% interest. In some you defend such cases in which you approve loan was sold correctly by company. This loan would have attracted high interest charges. The interest is auto calculated. Is this job permissible?
If not is the sin of this waging a war with Allah swt and his messenger? What are alternatives in the current job climate?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu 'alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If your job description is to merely investigate the complaint of a person who has been mis-sold a loan, then such a job will be permissible.
