Naturogain-(Taking Herbal medications from a Hindu company. Using medication from inside a Gelatine capsule.)
Question
Respected Mufti Saheb Daamat Barakaatuhum
I would like to know :
There is a company that is situated in India. They have online purchase also. The name of the company is "Naturogain". They sell herbal medicines. And upon enquiry, they said they their medicines are 100% herbal, and they also have the ingredients of their medicines on their website. However they said that their capsules are made from gelatine.
My questions are :
1. Taking into consideration that they are most probably hindus, will it be fine for me to trust the information that they gave that their medicines are 100% herbal?
2. Most probably their capsules are haram. So will it be fine if I empty the powder from the Capsule, and I throw the Capsule away and merely consume the powder?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Naturogain is a company which deals strictly in herbal products and natural health supplements. The company maintains being strictly vegan after contacting them. [1]
Based on this, it will be permissible to use Naturogain products, unless one is certain of specific products containing Non-Halaal ingredients. In that case, it will not be permissible to use the specific product. However, general caution is advised regarding products of this and similar nature.
It is permissible to take only the contents of a gelatine capsule without consuming the capsule itself. However, one should consult a medical expert regarding whether this is expedient or not. [2]
