Dreaming of hearing inmates of the graveyard screaming

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

It is well known that when one visits the graveyard, the purpose is to read and remember a close person or family member that passed on. Therefore, the inmates that were pleading for your assistance signify family members that you know and family members that can reach out to you. You heard many inmates screaming and not just one inmate. This denotes a group of people, and in this context the group of people are your family. 

There is a possible crisis that may involve the family. They scream is an appeal for assistance and advice. It can also refer to evil that may be unleashed on them due to the lack of remembrance of Allah Ta’ala. A soul is imprisoned and like a dead person without the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala. See the following hadith: 

عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ رَبَّهُ وَالَّذِي لاَ يَذْكُرُ مَثَلُ الْحَىِّ وَالْمَيِّتِ ‏"‏‏ (صحيح البخاري 6407)

Translation: It has been narrated from Hazrath Abu Musa (Radhiyallahu Anhu): Rasullullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, "The example of the one who remembers his Lord (Allah Ta’ala) in comparison to the one who does not remember his Lord, is that of a living creature compared to a dead one."

The reading that is a source of comfort for the inmates of the grave refers to the only solution for the possible dilemma. Therefore, it is important to encourage and advise your family to excessively engage in the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala and constantly make Dua. These two ingredients are vital to gain the assistance of Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta ‘ala alone has the power to change any crisis into favourable conditions and revive dead souls that feel imprisoned and trapped.
