Dream Interpretation
Question
Assalaamu `alaykum My name is wiktoria I have converted to Muslim few years ago. My question is related to my dream that came true, in my dream I have seen flooding and people crying and asking allah (swt) for help i have also heard them praying and saying all the beautiful words everything was in my ear as this dream was real. In the dream I was with my family and we were all running away from the water and screaming for help. The dream happened a month ago and I was so terrified after this dream because I have seen so many signs recording to the floods in my dream i also kept seeing the special number 786 I even have that special beautiful number on my account number in my bank card. That dream only happened once but the thing is it came true I leave in derby and the dream was about derby and other cities in the uk that there will be floods etc. We have had so many floods in derby on Friday 8/11/2019. I’m so confused could someone please answer my question thank you.

Sister in Islam,
It gives us great pleasure to hear of your reversion to Islam. We make Dua to Allah Ta’ala that He keep you steadfast on His Deen. Aameen.
Some dreams are truthful and meaningful. However, we should not make dreams the focus of our life. All conditions, whether good or otherwise, come from Allah alone. We should thank Allah for the good and seek refuge from the bad.
It may seem that this dream was some sort of premonition, however, that should not divert us from our main focus which should be obedience to Allah. If the dream may seem to be bad in nature, seek the forgiveness of Allah, make Dua and Zikr. Do not dwell on the meaning of the dream as it is of no consequence.
