Thursday Night Majlis - Mufti Ebrahim Desai Saheb - Musjid Us Saliheen

Mufti Saheb commenced with the virtues of reciting Surah Kahf on a Friday.

He then referred to the  meeting between  Moosa Alaihis Salaam and Khidr Alayhis Salaam.

Both had different types of knowledge and different approaches. Moosa Alaihis Salaam objected to Khidr Alaihis salaam and Khidr Alaihis Salaam explained himself to Moosa Alaihis Salaam.

Mufti Saheb advised that when we differ with people, we should engage in dialogue and objectively understand the differing view. The dialogue will present an opportunity to present what we think is correct.

A dialogue will save one from many sins:

Suspicion

Backbiting

Gossiping etc.

All these are detrimental to ones spirituality. Dialogue helps in correcting one another and making islaah of each other.
