How will a woman calculate her nifaas & when will she start her salaah?
Question
Respected mufti
A lady gave birth to her second child. She bled for 44 days. Her first nifaas was 32 days. How will she calculate her nifaas and when will she start her salaah.
Answer
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
May the child be the coolness to the parent’s eyes. Ameen.
Once the bleeding exceeds 40 days, she will resort to her habit of 32 days and make Qadha of Salaah from the 33rd day onwards. [1]
