Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

If bleeding stops before forty days, a woman will have to take a bath and start performing her Salat. It is not necessary for her to wait for the completion of forty days in order to perform her Salat.
