Seeking treatment from an Aamil

Question

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Is it permissible to take treatment from an aamil who uses jinn for diagnosis and other purposes.

The aamil is a pious Moulana teaching at a reliable darul uloom and he is also a close mureed of a reliable sheykh.

The aamil does not charge his patients nor does he inform the patients regarding who did the sihr (if there is any sihr).

Jazakallah khair.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for an Aamil to use Jinn to assist him in treating people. This is similar to using the assistance of a human being. If the Aamil is a pious and upright person, it will be permissible to undergo treatment through him.
