What should someone do when one is feeling numb?

Question

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

i'm not sure if you'll understand this question as it is related to depression, but what should someone do when he/she is feeling numb?

It is not understood what you mean by numb. Please clarify and elaborate on what you mean by numb.
