Performing Taraweeh with female congregation - Is this permissible for men?
Question
Asslamu alaikum, In ramadan due to lockdown we are going to perform salah and tarabi in congregation at home along with our mother and sister is it valid?
And what should imam do an intention while leading women???
And another thing is What is intention for taravi salah? ..!
Pls inform me..!
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, it is necessary for the Imam to make intention for the females performing Salah behind him.[1]
In the enquired situation, it would be necessary for the Imam to make an intention to lead the womenfolk in Salah. Furthermore, when performing Taraweeh one should make an intention of Sunnah Taraweeh Salah.[2]

والاحتياط في التراويح أن ينوي التراويح أو سنة الوقت أو قيام الليل وفي السنة ينوي السنة.
