Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Sister in Islam,

We are sorry to note the issue in reference. We make Dua Allah guide the family to whatever is best and grant the family courage to overcome this challenge.

Our advice is the family and some senior people meet the husband directly and enquire from him the reason for wanting to divorce his wife. You’ll could then determine whether the allegation is false or not. The family could then decide the most suitable way forward.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
