Do i need to perform Umrah everytime i go to visit someone in Makkah?

Assalamualaikum
I live in taif saudi arabia which is outside meeqat. My question is that if I want to go Makkah haram for just praying or to meet some guests so every time i need to perform umrah or i can go without ahram no need to perform umrah every time? as i am permanently staying here in taif

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, when one passes the mīqāt and intends to go to Makkah, he must don the iḥrām and perform ʿUmrah.[i] Accordingly, when going to Makkah from Taif you must don the iḥrām and perform ʿUmrah even when going to just pray or visit guests.

قال: (ولا يجوز للآفاقي أن يتجاوزها إلا محرما إذا أراد دخول مكة) سواء دخلها حاجا أو معتمرا أو تاجرا

(قوله والمواقيت التي لا يجوز أن يتجاوزها الإنسان إلا محرما) يعني لا يتجاوزها إلى مكة أما إلى الحل فإنه يجوز بغير إحرام
