Is my fast broken?
Question
So after Fajr I was going to take a shower. I removed all my pubic hair then got in the shower, when I was in there I I turned the shower head so it would remove all the hair the I trimmed. In doing so I became aroused however I never thought much of it. A few minutes later I automatically ejaculated without my hands being involved. Is my fast broken?
Answer
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh
If a person ejaculates by any physical means for example, masturbating with his hands, then his fast will break. One would have to make up for that fast (qadha). [i]
In the enquired situation, physical masturbation did not take place. The fast did not break. Arousal is generally due to immoral thoughts in the mind. If so, make istigfār for the evil and immoral thoughts. [ii]

(أو ادهن أو اكتحل أو احتجم) وإن وجد طعمه في حلقه (أو قبل) ولم ينزل (أو احتلم أو أنزل بنظر) ولو إلى فرجها مرارا (أو بفكر) وإن طال مجمع

"أو أنزل بنظر" قيد بالنظر لأن الإنزال بالمس ولو بحائل توجد معه الحرارة مفسد ولو استمنى بكفه فعامة المشايخ أفتوا بفساد الصوم وهو المختار

"أو أنزل بنظر" إلى فرج امرأة لم يفسد "أو فكر وإن أدام النظر والفكر" حتى أنزل لأنه لم يوجد منه صورة الجماع ولا معناه
