I want a separate house

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Sister in Islam,

Your request to live separately is valid especially in the view of your husbands undertaking of living separately before marriage.

We advise you to refer the issue to your father who in turn may engage an appropriate person from your husband’s family to amicable address the issue.

In the meanwhile, take strength from Sabr and Salah. Turn to Allah. He controls our hearts and He will grant you all the strength to go through this.

May Allah Ta’āla make the future bright and prosperous for you and your children. Ameen.
