Question
Can I take the name of my daughter as "Ayezah" عاعزه, عائزه or آئزه.
أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
اذَا دَخَلُوا قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوا أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَا أَذِلَّةً
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
اعزّة (Ai’zzah) is the plural of عزيز (Aziz) which means mighty, powerful, or respected. It is used for a male generally. We advise you to keep the name عزيزة (Azizah) which is feminine for عزيز (Aziz).

وَرَجُلٌ عَزيزٌ مِنْ قَوْمٍ أَعِزَّة وأَعِزَّاء وعِزازٍ. وَقَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكافِرِينَ أَي جانبُهم غليظٌ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ لَيِّنٌ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِين.
