Is Palm oil Halaal?

AsalaamuAlaykum.I have a question about Palm oil. Is it halal? I have heard that sometime Palm oil can be dangerous for health but is that only under certain circumstances? E.g.if it is treated in a certain way?
Please could you clarify this as it is in many foods?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Palm oil is Halaal.[i] If after being treated in certain methods, it becomes a potential health hazard, then you should abstain from it.
