Revealing face due to security reasons

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If a woman is in niqaab is required to reveal her face due to legal requirements for example at the airport etc., she should first refer to a female officer to confirm her identity. If a female officer is not available, and she is required to reveal her face to a male officer, she will be excused.
