Is it halal to work in conventional asset management company as Head of Internal Audit?
Question
Is it halal to work in conventional asset management company as Head of Internal Audit. This position is independent of operations of the company. The company takes deposits from investors and mainly invests in shares of the stock exchange which may or may be shariah compliant. It also invests about 5 to 10 % in interest bearing secuities. Its income is management fee from investors.
