Is it permissible to work in an IT department of a company?

Please advise in the light of Quran and Sunnah if it is permissibe to work in an IT department of a company who provides financial solutions to banks and other finance companies

Kindly advise what exactly will your job be in the IT department. Will you be providing financial solutions or will it be purely IT related?
